National Arts In Health Network
The National Network for Arts in Health Canada (NNAHC – pronounced knack) was established to bring together those working in all fields of arts in health throughout Canada.
Arts in Health can take place in hospitals, long-term care facilities, drug recovery centres, and mental health groups. Arts in Health encompasses all aspects of the arts including literary, musical, performing and visual arts, as well as arts therapies.
Become a Member!
As a member you are invited participate in the online discussion board and forum and interact and share practices and research with others working in this field in Canada. The hope is that, through this network, we will be able to establish a strong advocacy group. You are also invited to attend the first national meeting that will be held in association with the Society for Arts in Healthcare conference at Stanford in California in April.
In addition, by becoming a member of the NNAHC you can benefit from the regional network discount offered by the Society of Arts in Healthcare of 50% off any new membership to SAH.
