The Ribbons of Life project grew from a vision to help residents of Burnaby Hospital’s Cascade Residence learn how art can help them express their lives and memories.


Working with Burnaby students, tutored by professional artists, the residents created an art exhibit featuring pieces created by individual seniors, by senior and students working together, or by students interpreting the seniors’ life stories.
